See You Next Time, Thailand….

Today, on September 14, my friend Taya and I left at 8:30 am to drive to Don Mueang in Bangkok. It took 9 hours to get to Bangkok from Lampang city. Before we left, we did not forget to say goodbye to the mother of the dormitory owner and also Miss Ying, because Miss Ying could not take us to Bangkok.

During the parting words, unknowingly these tears fell, I felt very sad but I tried to accept. After that we got into the car and went to Bangkok. On the trip, there were so many incidents that made it very difficult for us to sleep. First, we stopped at every Seven Eleven market to buy some foods, after that we got stuck in traffic, then at 12.00 pm our car stopped, our car’s fuel ran out of gasoline and we all had to go down and pushed the car, in the midday. When we pushed the car we all looked at each other and I said “this is the first time I push the car, and I just do it at Thailand, only in Thailand” and all my friends was laughing. Finally we found the gas station and we paused to drink water to quench our thirst after pushing a very large car.

At 3.45 pm, I arrived at the airport; Taya and I were the second people to get out of the car because my two friends who were from Vietnam had preceded me getting off. They got off in Downtown Bangkok to meet their friends. When I arrived at the airport, I was very sad because this was my time to part with my friend. I looked at my friend who came from Philippines and said “Don’t cry baby, it’s not good bye, we will meet next time, I promise”. We then hugged each other and took pictures together before me and my friend checked in.

Our flight was at night. So, I just decided to just sleep on the plane, because the trip from Bangkok to Jakarta took 3 hours. I left at 7.30 pm and arrived in Jakarta at 10.30 pm. That day was very late, and we decided to take a break at a restaurant that was still inside the airport, because we were only able to check in at 3:00 am so we waited for 4 hours. After the time showed 2.30 am we got ready to go to the place we checked in. Finally, we finished checking in and went to the waiting door, at 4.30 am we got into the plane and got ready to fly to Bali. The plane was very quiet, there were not many passengers, and there were only about 25 passengers. Luckily, I got a seat near the window so I could see the sunrise.

At 6.00 am I woke up from my sleep and when I looked outside the window, the sun had started to rise and I was very happy, I took some pictures and videos. After a while, the flight attendant told us that in 20 minutes we would make a landing at Ngurah Rai Airport. I was very happy and also could not wait to meet my family at home. Because the only one who picked me up at the airport was my boyfriend, so I went home alone. I arrived in Bali at 6.30 am and when I exited the airport’s door I saw my boyfriend carrying Flower and also a very large doll, I was very happy because I arrived in Bali safely and was able to gather with my family again.
